Black-Owned Fashion Organization Empowering Women All Around the World to Become Entrepreneurs

Willow Tree Roots Fashion Designs

Entrepreneur Tiffani Sharp is the founder of Willow Tree Roots, a non-profit organization that helps women to succeed as entrepreneurs. Tiffani says the idea grew from a seed of love from her heart, and she aims to improve the socioeconomic status of women all over the world.

Helping women become entrepreneurs

The objective of Willow Tree Roots is to provide underserved women with income-generating and business development skills through their Women’s Socioeconomic Empowerment Projects by first guiding them in discovering their self-worth, sparking their passions, and then giving them the tools they need to succeed as business and community leaders.

Their Women’s Socioeconomic Empowerment Project is currently implemented in the countries of Kenya and Peru, and seeks to implement the project in Cambodia, as well as other underserved countries.

A variety of products from their cultural collections (handmade skirts, handbags, and more) can be purchased online at WillowTrees.org,

When women succeed, the whole community benefits

Before starting Willow Tree Roots, Tifanni was (and still is) a licensed attorney with a specialization in international law. Her own legal practice has spent over a decade advocating for the legal rights of the underrepresented.

It was through her legal practice and travels that she began to observe that in communities where women actively participated in changing and improving their own economic status, the communities as a whole benefited!

How others can help

According to Tiffani, "It takes very little to lift a woman to empowerment. For as little as $30 a month, you can provide a woman with the skills she needs to become a successful entrepreneur and business owner and leader in her community." 100% of all donations go to where it is needed, and donations can be made online.
